Run The World Gobal Challenge celebrates running around the world.  RTW Global Challenge 7 is a 10 week program that started September 11, 2019 and will finish 10-weeks later on Tuesday November 19, 2019 at 11:59 PM California time.  The idea is to run or walk and then log those miles on your My Best Runs account. There is no entry fee.  You just need a MBR account and that’s Free too.  Once you sign up you log your miles on your account.

Ran our Double 15k (10k+break+5k) this morning. Perfect day for running. I tired to out run 8-year-old Angela Talluri but she was tough and got me by 10 seconds. She is one tough runner. She just would not let me get around her in the 5k. I got her by a couple of seconds for the 10k leg. Well done Angela. Photo with her very supportive family. Her father is running Chicago Marathon in a couple of weeks. (Sun 29)

This has been an exciting ten week RTW Challenge. We have 25.5 hours to log more miles (k’s). This was a low key event. Yet we still covered a lot of ground. Some amazing amount of miles. Looks like James is going to be our winner. He has been running like 128 miles per week. Very impressive. So get your last miles logged tomorrow. Then Wednesday first thing we will start RTW7. Ten weeks and let’s see if we can go beyond what we did for RTW6. What do you think? (Mon 9)

I think all the walking I did in Bali and not much running is going to pay off. Once I get down this weight and get my breathing in order i should be able to race sub 7:45 pace. (Sun 8)
