Run The World Gobal Challenge celebrates running around the world.  We have finished our first year. RTW Global Challenge 6 is a 10 week program that started July 2, 2019 and will finish 10-weeks later on September 11.  The idea is to run or walk and then log those miles on your My Best Runs account. There is no entry fee.  You just need a MBR account and that’s Free too.  Once you sign up you log your miles on your account.

Day 5 of #fktisrael was crazy-88k, 2766 meters-14 hours, I am 11k behind schedule but πŸ‘Œ with it as battled hail in the desert, flash flood warnings, gloves getting blown away, 2 jackets & wool hat worn for most , then mud..legit slip & slide mud but I had the best time & met so many kind & incredible people that braved the weather to πŸƒ with me. He said it was very technical and exposed at times otherwise felt great. Just like that the @worldmarathonchallenge777 is over. I finished day 7-Miami in 2:53:04-1st overall & an average time under 3 hours....today I even ran a negative split. I can’t even begin to explain how lucky I feel to have had this experience. πŸ™ to everyone at the WMC, the other athletes, crew, & all the family & friends that cheered us on. It is so incredible to watch everyone grow & discover what they are capable of. Also huge πŸ™ to the security person in Santiago that found my passport. on day 6 of the @worldmarathonchallenge777 in Santiago, Chile I had some stomach issues & had absolutely no energy & just didn’t have things go right. One of cardinal rules of stage racing is don’t get sick 😷, fuel & show up ready to rumble. I didn’t do those things & I paid but got home 1st in about 3:04ish. The aid stations, volunteers & race team are second to none. Highly recommend!!! For my 51st race of the 2018, I took away 10 things: 1) 🌧 &puddles=very cold 2) DJ=don’t be a lazy DJ 3) Jackets=Good get it out before you are shaking uncontrollably 4) 4th place=Adjust your goals 5) Sunrises=are always worth it even if 5 hours away and raining like you are in the shower 6) Thriller= at 3:00am is spooky and awesome 7) ⬆️⬇️=If yiu are running down you are going to go back up 8) Poles=are amazing but appears you can break the Black Diamond z-poles, then you have to carry for 40k, have a plan if they will not fold up πŸ˜‰ 9) Hyperthermia=bad, coming back from it sucks but get warm and take your time 10) Believe=Keep believing things change. πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™ to everyone Hirus Ultra Marathon (Fri 7) / Total Miles 1,310.31 since 7/5/18

Finished the super cool @ultralemkowyna 150k I think maybe 5th or 6th in a bit 19 hours. I had a bad stomach the entire day which meant I could not fuel with anything solid only liquids but it took me until 40k to figure that out and Imodium save my race. It didn’t the discomfort but allowed me to continue. It was really well organized, runnable but still had a bunch of climbing-over 5000 meters, terrific aid stations, and muddy πŸ˜€ πŸ™πŸ™ everyone for the support. It is exactly one week to the start of one of my favorite races ever the @ultragobi 400k(about 250 miles) in the Gobi Desert 🌡 of China πŸ‡¨πŸ‡³. You are required to self navigate, be self sufficient and it is non-stop. Last year I had an amazing experience and I cannot wait to test my limits again. I also met some of the most incredible people from the race organization to the other athletes and I am wishing everyone taking part again the best. Thank you so much to everyone that cheered us on today @thesfmarathon I needed every single bit of encouragement. I felt good for about 5k then it got HARD πŸ˜‰...I figured it would but man did I have to battle but so unbelievably happy to have run 2:44:46, a week out from @hardrock100run. I have never attempted this challenge before and it brought it. Huge thank you to all the other athletes & the team at the San Francisco marathon for having me. (Sun 29)

100.50 miles in Silverton, Colorado (runner profile)

I gave it my all until the very end & feel so unbelievably humbled to have earned the right to run the Rock hardrock100run Huge πŸ™ to the Hardrock organization, volunteers, fans, and most importantly to my family and crew for making this possible. Looks like I ended up 11th overall in 30:23. Appx 1 hour faster than last year (Sat 21)
