Their new hobby is Speed mountaineering and long-distance trail running.

After learning the basics of mountaineering from the Spokane Mountaineers while at college in Spokane, Cyrus and Niles Desmarais have embraced mountain running. The twins often spend hours ascending and descending imposing peaks that might take other climbers a day or more. But, they loved to run. And they loved the mountains. So, Cyrus convinced his brother to start a new hobby.
