14 athletes named to Athletics Canada's team for the 2018 IAAF World Indoor Championships

The 14-athlete squad will travel to Birmingham, U.K. for the March 1-4 IAAF championships, held every 2 years. Notable qualifiers on Canada’s team include Damian Warner, Olympic bronze medallist in decathlon and Shawn Barber, a world champion pole vaulter. The women’s 1,500m features two Canadians including Gabriela Stafford, a 2016 Olympian, and Kate Van Buskirk, the newly-minted national record holder for the indoor mile. two women also qualified in the 400m including Kelsey Balkwill and Travia Jones.
