Mo Farah has confirmed that he wants to be a competitor at the Tokyo´s Marathon 2020

Mo Farah, Britain’s most successful athlete, will have one more crack at winning another Olympic title after confirming his intention to compete in the Tokyo 2020 marathon. Farah, a four-time Olympic and six-time world champion on the track, had tiptoed around the subject of ever representing his country again after moving to full-time road racing last year. However, speaking ahead of his third career marathon in Chicago on Sunday, Farah confirmed he had made his mind up about donning a British vest at the 2019 World Championships and 2020 Olympics, when he will be 37. “I am definitely going,” he said. “As long as my body can hold up, I am definitely going to Tokyo. I know from my training that I am definitely capable of getting a medal. I don’t know what the color is going to be, but I want to continue through 2020. (10/06/2018) Views: 1,571 ⚡AMP
