Counting Down to 2018 at the NYRR Midnight Run

As the temperature in Central Park hovered above 10 degrees, runners at the NYRR Midnight Run started the countdown from 10 to mark the end of 2017 and the start of 2018. With a select group of professional athletes leading the pack of nearly 4,000 runners, Reid Buchanan became the first to complete four miles in the new year by breaking the tape in 19:08.
