Kenya’s sprint powerhouse Ferdinand Omanyala delivered a statement performance at the Addis Ababa Grand Prix 2026, storming to victory in the men’s 100m final with a brilliant 9.98 seconds.

On a lively track in the Ethiopian capital, Omanyala once again underlined his status as Africa’s fastest man, producing a race defined by explosive acceleration and controlled top-end speed.
