Julius and his wife Emily live on a farm near Nyaharuru with their two sons, Eugene, 11, Roger, 9 and their new baby. Now 34, Julius has been a professional runner for 13 years. He spends several months during the year running races in the US based out of Hebron, KY.

His personal bests are impressive: 10K 28:13, Half Marathon 1:01:17, 25K 1:13:50 and 2:10:34 for the Marathon. He also holds the world record for the Double Road Race 15k. He ran 29:11 for the 10K leg and then one hour later ran 14:00 for the 5K. He has run the three fastest Double 15K times including his 43:11 world record performance in Pacific Grove May 10, 2015. Julius, 5'5", 125-pound runner has won numerous races around the world.
