| Stroll through the old neighborhood in the suburbs of Helsinki. Not sure I have seen this in other countries, but in Finland almost every town and suburb has a public rug cleaning station. Clean rugs are left to dry in the racks. Shoes are taken off inside, which was true in Iceland, too. That has always been the house rule in my home. | |||||
