The Ooredoo Doha Marathon was created to bring the community together, inspire healthier lifestyles, and contribute to impactful charitable causes in Qatar. This annual event is a celebration of fitness, unity, and giving back, attracting participants of all ages and abilities.

In its relatively brief history (the race was first held in 2000), the Dubai Marathon has become one of the fastest, most respected and the most lucrative marathon in the world in terms of prize money.
Each year thousands of runners take to the roads in this beautiful city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for this extraordinary race starting next to the Burj Khalifa in downtown Dubai.

The Course
The Marathon Route will start on the Umm Suqeim Road at the Madinat Jumeirah end turning left ontoAl Sufouh running past Dubai College Junction, past the entrance to Palm Island and U turning back at The One & Only Mirage Hotel entrance at Dubai Media City heading back along Al Sufouh onto the Jumeirah Beach Road running past the Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
The runners will head up the Jumeirah Beach Road running towards the Union Flag, running past it and U turning at the next junction then heading back along the Jumeirah Beach Road past the Union Flag again. The runners will run back along the Jumeirah Beach Road past the Grand Mosque, the Old Jumeirah Beach Park and head back towards the Burj Al Arab. After passing the Burj Al Arab the runners will turn left at the Madinat Jumeirah junction running on the left side of the road along the Umm Suqueim Road for approx 500 metres to the finish just before the Dubai Police Academy.

Come join us, the race starts at Old Spanish Fort, Beauregard Avenue near the intersection of Robert E. Lee and Wisner Boulevard, on the bank of Bayou Saint John. Runners then head north to the historic French quarter, finishing in Jackson Square. Post-race activities will be at the Steamboat Natchez dock in the French Quarter, overlooking the Mississippi River.
This race is over 115 years old.

All 15K finishers will receive an official Hot Chocolate San Francisco medal to commemorate their awesome achievement. Heads up: while this medal may give you chocolate cravings, it’s actually made from metal alloy. We recommend displaying this sturdy, high-quality medal on a wall for maximum bragging rights. Each medal features a chocolate bar lookalike wrapped in gold, hung by a shimmering Finisher ribbon. You’ll be handed your medal after crossing the finish line.

Around the corner we have one more edition of the 10K Valencia Ibercaja, organized one more year by the C. 10K VALENCIA Athletics premiering the running season in Valencia.
It is a massive urban race with more than 3,000 registered annually of 10 kilometers, where the maximum duration of the test will be 1 hour 40 minutes (100 minutes). The Organization will enable 5 different departures, each separated by 4 minutes apart, the first one being adapted and blind athletes.
The 10K Valencia is one of those tests that no runner should miss.

Departure and finish in the City of Arts and Sciences and a walk through the city center to complete a spectacular tour of the 10K Valencia.
I am well motivated runner to perform on my personal best time and I except do well. It is a new experience and new people on track but my training has been good and I hope for best.
