The 10 Km de Cholet race is a race with the FFA Label. The Entente des Mauges is the association's support club vis-à-vis the FFA.
The association is made up of volunteers. A board meets throughout the year in order to prepare the 10 Km de Cholet race. Anyone can join the association, whether or not they practice running, as volunteers during the race, or to join the office. There is no membership fee to join the association.
The objective of the association is to organize each year a race with an FFA LABEL which will bring together the largest number of runners.
The association law 1901 "Les foulées Choletaises" was created in 1992 with the aim of organizing the Cholet marathon.
In 1999, the members decided to switch to a 10 km race to develop popular participation.
The course is labeled Word Athletic, it allows you to validate all records, including your personal bests.
The start is on Avenue Manceau, closer to Glisséo. The difference in altitude between the start line and the finish line is 8 meters. It complies with FFA standards to validate your records.
The course is always composed of two loops, the first of 4 Km, the second of 6 Km.
To make up for the distance lost with the moving start line, the route goes around the new halls, via the Boulevard de la Victoire and then the Boulevard Delhumeau PLessis. To then resume the same route.
