Manhattan, KS
Distance: Half Marathon · 5K
Offical Race Web Site
Enjoy Manhattan’s favorite Half Marathon. As we do with all our races, we not only want to have a good time and throw on a great event but we are also wanting to raise money for a great cause. This year, Coach Snyder has selected 4 charities:K-State’s Johnson Cancer Research Center, Shepherd’s Crossing, Snyder Leadership Fellows, Matt Snyder Foundation for Troubled Youth.
Half Marathoners will be in for a real treat when they run this point-to-point race. Runners will be shuttled from Bill Snyder Family Stadium to the starting line. The course will begin out near I-70 on Highway 177, better known as the Coach Bill Snyder Highway. Runners will run into town on Northbound lane on the east side. Once in town the course will go down Poyntz Ave, around City Park, through Aggieville, through KSU campus and finish INSIDE the Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
The 5k race will start and finish at Bill Snyder Family Stadium. The runners will come out of the parking lot heading east on Kimball, turn South on Denison and loop down by campus and then INSIDE the stadium.
All finishers (Half and 5K) this year will receive a Finisher's medal!
