The course winds through beautiful West Akron neighborhoods, crosses the iconic All-America bridge into North Hill, takes runners down the all-new Main St. and into the Firestone Park neighborhoods before returning to downtown on the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail where a world-class finish inside Canal Park Stadium and popular Finisher Festival on the field awaits! The redesigned course features a net 150’ drop in the Full and Half Marathon and if that is not enough to excite you, just wait for the thrill of running through Akron Children’s Hospital campus at mile 25! A proud Heritage Day Celebration, the Absa RUN YOUR CITY JOBURG 10K was founded in 2016 and celebrates the splendour of the City of Gold.
Runners (and walkers) will be treated to a 10km journey that highlights iconic landmarks and features lively performances by a host of Joburg’s leading performing arts groups. A true highlight on the SA running calendar, entrants can also look forward to rubbing shoulders with elite runners both local and from abroad.

Ever wanted to follow in the footsteps of Olympic athletes? The route for the Vitality London 10,000 covers part of the 2012 London Olympic Marathon route, so get your place now to run like an Olympian.
The Vitality London 10,000 starts and finishes in St James’s Park and uses Green Park as its assembly area.
The race starts on The Mall and finishes on Spur Road opposite Buckingham Palace. Runners follow a clockwise route around the City of Westminster and the City of London. The course passes many of London’s famous sights including Admiralty Arch, Nelson’s Column, St Paul’s Cathedral, Mansion House, the Bank of England, the Old Bailey, Somerset House, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey.
Each kilometers will be clearly marked. A timing mat at the halfway point will take your 5km split time. There are water stations at 3km and 6.5km. Toilets will be placed close to 3km, 5km and 7km for runners’ use.
