Tata Mumbai Marathon

Tata Mumbai Marathon is considered to amongst the top ten marathons in the world.

Mumbai Marathon is an international marathon event which brings runners and marathoners from all over the world to the cosmopolitan city of India and run for fitness.

One of the reasons for its popularity is the marathon route. The full marathon starts outside CST, Mumbai and is an out and back race course while the half marathon starts near Worli dairy and finishes outside CST, Mumbai.

The course record of 2:24:33 set in 2013 by the women's winner Valentine Kipketer, Kenya, was the fastest time ever run a marathon in India in the women's marathon category. In 2016, Gideon Kipketer broke the men's marathon record, completing the race in 2:08:35.

Mumbai is a big, melting pot of acity. A city that's home to dreamers, and hard-workers, starlets and gangsters, artists andfisherfolk and millionaires and lots and lots of people. It has India’s most prolific film industry, some of Asia’s biggest slums, as well as the world’s most expensive home, and the largest tropical forest in an urban zone! Mumbai is India’s financial powerhouse, fashion epicentre, and a pulse point of religious tension. It’s even evolved its own language, Bambaiyya Hindi, which is Hindi, Marathi, and a bit of everything.

With that being said, let’s make some memories at the Tata Mumbai Marathon on 21st January 2018.
