Ravenna Marathon and half Marathon, is one of the most important running races in Italy.

Inserted in the UNESCO’s network of marathons, the race attracts every year a large number of runners and their families, friends and partners for a weekend in the name of sport, culture and tourism.

The Ravenna Marathon is a wide event that ranges from the competitive races of Marathon (42.195 km) and Half-Marathon (21.097 km) to the non-competitive ones, such as Good Morning Ravenna (10 km), Family Run (2 km), Dogs&Run (2 km) and Correndo Senza Frontiere (3 Km). There are several trails on schedule, some of which take place one day before the official event.

The trails all run within the city, except for the Marathon, which runs until Punta Marina Terme and touches the UNESCO World Heritage monuments of Ravenna. You will cross the heart of the city for a journey into the Byzantine history.
