I started running at the age of 65 in 2016 & so far did 72 official running events (ultramarathon - 1, marathon - 6, half marathon - 28, 25K - 3, 15K - 2, 10K - 30, masters games - 2, at home & abroad. I am fortunate to become the oldest runner to be procam slammer in 2028-2019. I was also procam slammer in 2019-2020. After corona, again I completed all the four races of procam starting with TCSW10K 22, finished with TMM23. In masters games I won 5 gold &1 bronze medal in 2022.

For some time the members have already passed the thousand (more than 1,450) and the number is set to increase considering that the weather should be forgiving. In Verbania today begins the goings of athletes for the Lake Maggiore half marathon, one of the most attended sporting events of the VCO, which on Sunday morning between 11 and 14 will bring athletes from around the world to challenge the stopwatch on the scenic road that connects Verbania in Stresa.

The Eau Claire Marathon is a USATF certified, Boston Marathon qualifying race. Since 2014, over 250 Eau Claire Marathon runners have qualified for the Boston Marathon. All races start and finish in Carson Park, a 134 acre peninsula surrounded by Half Moon Lake. As you exit the park, you will cross the first of 11 bridges. Making your way through our city, you'll enjoy the beauty and tranquility of both the Eau Claire and Chippewa Rivers as well as our many parks.

Course records set at 2018 Event
Geoffrey Kamworor fulfilled all expectations and consolidated his reputation as arguably the best road racer in the world below the marathon distance by winning his third title at the TCS World 10K in Bengaluru, India,on Sunday.
The Kenyan, the winner of the last two world half marathon titles and first man across the line in Bengaluru in 2012 and 2014, couldn’t challenge his course record of 27:44 on a hot and humid morning but crossed the line in 28:18 after impressively imposing his authority on the race just after the halfway point.
In sharp contrast to men’s race, the Elite International women’s contest was a close-fought three-way affair which only got decided in the final 500m as the first three runners home went under the former course record of 31:46 by Kenya’s Lucy Kabuu in 2014. The Kenya trio of Pauline Kamulu, Caroline Kipkirui and Agnes Tirop were accompanied by Ethiopia’s Netsanet Gudeta and Senbere Teferi.
Amongst the Elite Indian Women,Sanjivani Jadhav, set the course ablaze this hot morning in Bangalore, completing her race at 33:38, officially setting a new course record post a nine year interlude. Sanjivani, crossing the finish line at 33:38, bettered her previous time on the same course by2:35minutes, (her finish time at the TCS World 10K in Bangalore was earlier at 36:13 in 2016 when she was runner-up) and also ended ranked 10 amongst the overall elite women (international and Indian) in competition at this edition.
The last course record amongst the Indian elite women was set by Kavita Raut in the year 2009 with a time of 34:32, a record that Sanjivani was delighted at breaking sharing,“It feels great to create anewcourse record, and I know that Kavita Di (Kavita Raut) would be glad that it was me who broke this record as we are in the same academy and she has been a senior that I have looked upto for many years.”

A group of volunteer chairmen and some Memorial staff, lead a volunteer corps to carry out the full weekend of events allowing the maximum amount of proceeds benefit the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum.
From its inaugural race in 2001 with just shy of 5,000 participants, the event now hosts over 25,000 runners and walkers from every state and several foreign countries. The Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon is run on a challenging but fun course that takes participants through some of the most beautiful parts of Oklahoma City. The course is gently rolling with no hard hills. There is approximately 149 feet of elevation change on the course, and you get to do it several times!

The 13th annual Eugene Marathon will finish on Autzen Stadium’s 50-yard line, as construction continues at Hayward Field. After completing a new route that starts in front of Autzen Stadium on Leo Harris Pky and sends runners over the Ferry St. Bridge through downtown Eugene, runners will pass through Autzen’s east tunnel and finish on the 50-yard line.
