Ever since the initial steps, in 1999, all the organizers, the towns, cities and municipalities involved in this 26.2 mile challenge have constantly been expressing their delight at their investment.
Over the years, we have noticed the marathon participants looking for races that are able to offer an extra and original dimension in terms of the circuit and activities. We now offer the 10K, 5K, Half Marathon in addition to our marathon.
During the 18 annual marathons we have been able to count on YOU, the regular marathon participant, or YOU, the occasional participant, who has been won over by this key event in the international calendar.

This exciting race day in Down City will host a marathon, half marathon, 5k and kids fun run.
The Marathon will start at 7:30 a.m. Sunday in Downtown Providence, Rhode Island. The Half Marathon will start at 8:00 a.m. from the same location. The 5k will follow at 8:15 am and the kids race with take off at 8:20 all from the same great downtown running festival.
The marathon course is USATF certified and is a Boston Marathon Qualifier.

About the course.
A26.2 mi route in Newport, RI, United States. The route has a total ascent of 747.42 ft and has a maximum elevation of 15.75 ft. The first half of the course highlights the best of Newport with craggy shores, wide open ocean vistas, historic mansions and intricate architecture. After passing Easton’s Beach at the half way point, the full heads out to Middletown past Hanging Rock and Surfer’s End to a challenging course with more gorgeous views. The race finishes back along the water at Easton’s Beach.
The course is USATF certified and a Boston Qualifier.

The revamped marathon route retains its urban, postcard character and focuses on the most beautiful attractions of Quebec City, a world heritage site. The route, although recently modified due to the preparatory work for the future tramway, crosses three boroughs and nine districts. It is a condensed tour of the city and a excellent sporting challenge with the most beautiful colors of the fall!
The Quebec City Marathon course is measured according to international standards and is certified by Athletics Canada. Therefore, runners participating can use it to qualify for marathons, such as the Boston Marathon.

The Great Birmingham Run event held in Birmingham, UK. For security reasons the 2019 race was not a full half marathon. The distance was 11.07 miles.
It forms part of the Great Run British Marathon Series. The first event was held on October 15, 2017 on the same day as the existing Great Birmingham Run in the city center.
Whether you're a new runner or you've got hundreds of miles under your belt, this fantastic marathon route through the England's second city will be filled with musical entertainment, charity cheer buses and thousands of spectators cheering your name.
The atmosphere in Birmingham is second to none, so why not come and run for fun, for fitness or to raise money for a good cause?

The Lincoln National Guard Marathon and Half-Marathon is run on a citywide course that starts and finishes on the campus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Runners in both races share a common start and run a loop route past the Nebraska State Capitol, along Sheridan Boulevard, past Union College, along the Highway 2 bike path, past the Lincoln County-City Building and back to the Half-Marathon finish on the UNL Campus. Marathoners then follow an out-and-back route to Holmes Park passing the Sunken Gardens, Folsom Children’s Zoo and Antelope Park.
Both courses have been nationally certified by and according to the standards adopted by the USA Track & Field / Road Runners of America Committee on Certification.
