The Atlanta Halloween Half Marathon & 5K features 13.1 & 3.1 miles of costume fun! This event is more about fun than anything else! We decided to put a unique spin on the traditional half marathon or 5K event by celebrating that time honored Halloween tradition & Costumes! Get into the spirit of the event and run in a wacky costume! After the success we have had in Cumming, GA over the past few years, we decided to bring the event within te city of Atlanta to appeal to a broader audience. Our Start & Finish area will take place in the Old Fourth Ward Park, Atlanta. While it's not mandatory to run in costume, it definitely makes it more fun! This event is open to all abilities of runner and walker, both adults and children!

The NYRR Washington Heights Salsa, Blues, and Shamrocks 5K—an annual favorite and an NYRR club points race—sold out in advance and didn’t disappoint this morning. Runners of all ages—from NYRR Young Runners to NYRR Striders, as well as hundreds of youngsters in the kids' races—met in northern Manhattan for some fitness and fun.
The St. Patrick's Day spirit warmed up the crowd—participants and spectators alike. More than 5,000 finishers, including today’s champions, Desta Alemu Mokona of West Side Runners and Ivette Ramirez of Central Park Track Club New Balance, took on the course’s notorious hills. There was plenty of Irish green amidst the kaleidoscope of club singlets.
The neighborhood, known for its history, its community spirit, and the New Balance Track & Field Center at the Armory, played the perfect host, with spectators showing the runners howsupportive they can be.

Napa, California
Distance: Marathon · Half Marathon · 5K

As one of California's top tourist destinations, Napa Valley has been home to this race for decades. When it comes to scenic, it just doesn't get better than Napa in the spring. The narrow valley is covered in grape vines that stretch high up the hillsides on either side. The colors are crisp green, blue and yellow at that time of year.
The more than 300 architecturally unique wineries look like castles, mansions, sprawling villas and even sunken flying saucers. Subject to periodic rain showers but enjoying mostly crystal clear mornings, the race is a favorite, always a sellout and operates with a seasoned cast of running officials so it all goes down as smooth as Napa's finest Cabernet.

This annual race in San Francisco's historic Chinatown is sponsored by the Chinatown YMCA. Don't be surprised if you hear a few firecrackers along the route -- Chinatown's biggest celebrations surround the Chinese New Year and in this race you'll be right in the thick of things. Expect the spectators to be more festively dressed than at any other race. It a little complicated to explain, but the Chinese New Year falls between January 21 and February 20.
