New Taiwan National Half Marathon Record Set
Taiwanese long-distance runner Hsieh Chien-ho set a national record for the women's half marathon on Sunday, clocking 1:15:05 as part of the Taipei Marathon, missing the entry standard for the World Half Marathon Championships 2018 by five seconds. The 30-year-old runner clinched the gold medal in the half marathon with more than 27,000 entrants taking part in the marathon and half marathon events, including 3,200 from 51 countries and regions.
