New Brunswick woman wins Bermuda Marathon
Moncton, N.B.’s Rochelle Johnston warmed up for the Bermuda Marathon, which she won, by racing the event weekend’s mile and 10K in the two days leading up to the 42K. In addition to winning the marathon in 3:17:58, Johnston won the Bermuda Triangle Challenge for the lowest cumulative time across the mile, 10K and marathon distances. The 3 races went off on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, in that order. She covered the one-mile in 6:03, for the win, and the 10K in 49:11 for a weekend racing distance
