Ethiopians sweep women's B.A.A. Half Marathon, Kenyan wins men's race

Of the 6,298 athletes who raced 13.1 miles through Boston on Sunday morning in the B.A.A. Half Marathon, none was faster than Kenya's Abel Kipchumba. 

He crossed the finish line at White Stadium in Franklin Park with a time of 1:01:32.

In the women's race, a trio of Ethiopian athletes dominated the top three spots. Fotyen Tesfay finished first with a time of 1:08:46, followed by Senbere Teferi and Tsigie Gebreselama. 

Athletes' discarded clothing to be donated

Keira D'Amato, of the USA, finished fourth. 

Teferi, Gebreselama and D'Amato all finished within 12 seconds of each other.
