About the course
Clocks will be at each quarter mile along the race course.
The race course is point-to-point running east across the Hope Memorial Bridge. The first quarter mile is relatively flat before a challenging uphill to roughly the halfway mark. A long downhill takes runners almost all the way to the finish, but the road lev
els off with roughly 100 meters to go.
Footing on the bridge is excellent thanks to recent repaving, but some areas near the start line (just before the start of the bridge) are uneven.
The total net drop of the course is just over 3 meters / kilometer.
