The Taiping Lake 100 race is hosted at the Taiping Lake Scenic Area located in Taipinghuzhen in Huangshangregion of the AnhuiProvince of China.
Taiping Lake one of the key scenic spots in the Huangshan region where the lake is graceful with crystal clear waters, often known to the local natives as the Chinese Jade or World Pearl.
About the course
The Taiping Lake 100 features 3 courses with distances ranging from 21K, 50k, and up to 100K. Each route provides a unique challenge that becomes harder the longer you go, yet every course gives you the incredible breathtaking experience of Taiping Lake and the Yellow Mountain in the Anhui province of eastern China. Hands down, this is a dream adventure race that must be experienced by adventure runners around the world!
The course has been improved and optimized. Featuring ancient road, mountain trails, canyons, tea gardens, farms, and villages as you traverse from Taiping Lake to the Yellow Mountain and back in loop courses.
The ultimate challenge at the highest elevation is the 100K mountain race pushing to 110K in actual distance. The 100K extends off the 50K course, giving participants the ultimate ultramarathon challenge on one of the most beautiful mountain regions in the world. The course terrain features a blend of trails, dirt roads, and stone and paved pathways. The entire 100K course gives participants the incredible breathtaking views of Taiping Lake and Yellow Mountain.
