The Commonwealth Games are coming to Victoria - bringing an action packed sports program to our regional cities and delivering a long-term legacy for our future.
From 17 to 29 March 2026, Geelong, Bendigo, Ballarat, Gippsland and Shepparton will be on the world stage, attracting millions of viewers and creating thousands of jobs.
The multi-city model will change the game, with our five regional centres hosting 20 sports and 9 fully-integrated Para sports (including some sports making their Games debut).
Victoria 2026 will showcase what makes the people of our state tick: our unity, our diversity, our sense of community, our welcoming attitude and our love of sport.
It'll promote everythingregionalhas to offer to the world - the best food and wine, outstanding arts and culture and breathtaking landscapes.
The Games will also recognise and celebrate the unique history and cultures ofFirst. These stories are part of our collective identity as Victorians.
The legacy of the Games will last beyond the competition period, with investment in the community, social and affordable housing and world-class sporting facilities.
As Victoria's regional Games come together, more and more information will be available about how you can get involved. Sign up for updates, follow our socials and get ready for a Games like no other.
