Olympic marathon champion Eliud Kipchoge of Kenya will focus on winning in London Marathon and not setting a world record. The Kenyan missed out on breaking his compatriot Dennis Kimetto's 2:02:57 mark in Berlin last September owing to heavy rains and winds, but promised to return stronger and try to break the record in future. But he has ruled out trying to go for the record in a star studded London Marathon in April, but instead will focus on winning the race. (01/04/2018) ⚡AMP
Many of us will begin 2018 by setting goals for the year ahead – why not add a marathon with great PB potential to that list? Edinburgh Marathon (27 May) is one of the biggest and best the UK has to offer - standard entries, which are set to sell out for the 10th successive year close at midnight on Sunday 7 January. The flat and fast course makes Edinburgh perfect for a PB. That, teamed with picturesque views and friendly Scottish support, makes Edinburgh a great marathon choice. (01/04/2018) ⚡AMP

Every year, 19 million Americans participate in some kind of organized road race—five times the number of people who play in basketball leagues—but most aren’t competing to win anything. MBR UNIQUE RACE: There isn’t anything complicated about running with snowshoes. You just have to remember to pick up your feet.
The challenge, as with any winter running, is keeping yourself dry - because wet clothes can kill you.Beyond the normal challenge of sweating from all the extra exertion, racing snowshoes tend to throw around a lot of snow. In loose snow, it looks like a snow squall is following you when you run. Half of it falls on you, so you should wear clothing that sheds the snow. (12/29/2017) ⚡AMP
