By submitting the registration request, the athlete declares to have read and fully accept these rules for participation in the 14th Trento Half Marathon.
The A.S.D. Città di Trento organizes the 14th edition of the Trento Half Marathon on the certified WA/FIDAL 21.097 km distance. The race is included in the following international calendars:
The race will take place in Trento on Sunday, October 5, 2025, with assembly at 9:00 AM and start at 10:00 AM from Piazza Dante, finishing in Piazza Duomo.
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS:
ATHLETES REGISTERED IN ITALY
All Italian athletes aged 18 and above (age in calendar years) meeting one of the following criteria may participate:

Foreign athletes aged 18 and above (calendar years) meeting one of the following criteria may participate:
“SPORTS TOURISM” NON-COMPETITIVE PARTICIPANTS
Non-registered foreign citizens may participate in the non-competitive section for tourism/sports purposes. According to the Ministry of Health’s explanatory note of June 17, 2015, regarding the Decree of August 8, 2014, foreign citizens are not required to present a medical certificate but must sign a waiver indemnifying the organizers.
LIMITATIONS
These participants will be included in a separate alphabetical order of arrivals, distinct from the competitive race rankings, and will not be eligible for any prizes, monetary rewards, vouchers, bonuses, reimbursements, or similar.

CLOSURE OF REGISTRATIONS
Online registrations will close at midnight on October 2, 2025. No registrations will be accepted on race day. The A.S.D. Città di Trento reserves the right to close registrations early or accept registrations beyond the deadline at its sole discretion.
CONFIRMATION OF REGISTRATION
Confirmation emails containing the assigned bib number will be sent as soon as administrative procedures are completed, but no later than five days before the event. It is strongly recommended to provide a clear and legible email address. Athletes who, for any reason, do not receive the confirmation email can obtain it at the dedicated desk set up for bib collection.
At any time, participants can check the status of their registration by CLICKING HERE, logging in with their credentials, and selecting the “registration status” option for the event.
REGISTRATION VALIDATION
Registrations will not be accepted without the participation fee, a copy of the FIDAL membership card, or a medical certificate for competitive activities. Incomplete address or personal data will also result in rejection. The registration date will be determined by the payment date.
REFUND POLICY
Participation fees are non-refundable under any circumstances. However, registered athletes unable to participate in the marathon are offered two alternatives:
PARKING
On Sunday, October 5, participants can park their vehicles for free in the “Piazzale Sanseverino – P07” parking lot, located at the intersection of Via Verdi and Via R. da Sanseverino (345 parking spots + 6 reserved for people with disabilities).

BIB ASSIGNMENT
Bib numbers will be assigned based on the declared time, which will be verified. The time provided during registration must refer to certified half marathons completed no earlier than 2023. Once a bib number is assigned, it cannot be changed. The bib is strictly personal, cannot be altered or reduced, and may not be transferred under penalty of disqualification.
BIB AND RACE KIT COLLECTION
Athletes with valid registration can collect their bib and race kit in Trento by presenting a valid ID at the logistics center of the event, whose address will be communicated via email from EVODATA by September 30:
Athletes who fail to provide the required documentation will not be able to collect their bib (non-refundable) but may still collect the race kit. Bibs and race kits can also be collected by third parties with a written authorization, the delegator’s confirmation email, and a copy of a valid ID.
STARTING CORRALS
Four starting corrals have been set up based on the declared time and bib number (actual times achieved in half marathons over the three years preceding the event). The starting sectors will be divided into merit groups as follows:
To access the corral, participants must arrive 15 minutes before the start time for bib check.
BAG DEPOSIT
The Athlete Bag Deposit will be set up in Piazza Duomo. In the envelope containing your bib, you will find a sticker with your bib number, which must be visibly attached to your personal bag containing post-race clothing. The bag must be securely closed and will be collected, stored, and returned after the race.
It is advised not to leave personal belongings (e.g., cell phones, wallets, etc.) in the bags, as the organization cannot be held responsible for theft, loss, or damage. Bags will only be returned upon presentation of the bib.
TIMING
Timing will be managed by EVODATA – TIMING & DATA SOLUTION. Time measurement and ranking will be conducted using an active transponder system (“chip”). Tampering with the chip is prohibited. Athletes who damage the chip in any way will not be timed or appear in the rankings.

TIME LIMIT
The race must be completed within 2 hours and 30 minutes, after which the course will no longer be traffic-free. There will be a cut-off point at 10 km after 1 hour and 20 minutes. Athletes who exceed these time limits must follow standard traffic rules.
REFRESHMENTS AND SPONGE STATIONS
As per WA/FIDAL regulations, refreshment stations will be set up along the course at 5 km, 10 km, 15 km, and the finish line. Water will be available at all stations, and starting from 10 km, energy drinks will also be provided. Sponge stations will be available at 7.5 km, 12.5 km, and 17.5 km.
MEDICAL SERVICES
The organizing committee will provide adequate medical assistance along the course and at the start and finish areas.
PACEMAKERS
The organization will provide pacemakers for athletes who wish to maintain a steady pace to finish the Trento Half Marathon within a predetermined time. Recognizable by their special attire, pacemakers will guide participants aiming to finish in:

After crossing the finish line, athletes will be directed through designated corridors to receive their participation medal and access the final refreshment station.
RESULTS AND RANKINGS

The registered participant is responsible for the possession and safekeeping of their race bib. Tampering with the bib is prohibited. Athletes who alter, cut, or hide the printed logos on the bib will forfeit any potential prize, even if it is monetary.
These infractions will be verified based on photographic and/or video documentation.
PRIZES FOR FIDAL AFFILIATED CLUBS FROM OUTSIDE THE REGION
The top 3 extraregional clubs will receive prize money based on a scoring system calculated by the number of athletes who cross the finish line validly:
Only FIDAL-affiliated clubs are eligible. In the case of a tie, the prizes will be summed and divided among the winning clubs. Clubs with at least 30 athletes crossing the finish line will be eligible.
The prize money is subject to the applicable tax withholdings under Italian law.
PRIZES FOR FIDAL AFFILIATED REGIONAL CLUBS
The top 3 regional clubs will receive prize money based on the number of athletes finishing the race:
Only FIDAL-affiliated regional clubs are eligible. In case of a tie, the prize money will be summed and shared among the clubs. Clubs must have at least 30 athletes classified.
The prize money is subject to the applicable tax withholdings under Italian law.
COMPLAINTS
Complaints must be submitted within 30 minutes after the posting of the provisional rankings, initially verbally to the Finish Line Judge, and then in writing to the Appeal Judge, accompanied by a fee of €100. This fee will be refunded if the complaint is upheld.
For anything not explicitly mentioned in these rules, the general FIDAL regulations apply. The Race Jury may disqualify athletes who fail to pass the timing points along the course.
DISCLAIMER OF RESPONSIBILITY
By registering, the participant acknowledges that they have read and will comply with the regulations of the Trento Half Marathon as published on the official website: www.trentorunningfestival.it, in accordance with the current WA and FIDAL regulations. Participation in the Trento Half Marathon 2024 and/or any sports event in general is a potentially risky activity. The participant voluntarily assumes all risks arising from participation, including but not limited to: falls, contact with vehicles, other participants, spectators, weather conditions (extreme heat, cold, or humidity), traffic, and road conditions. By accepting the registration, the participant releases the Organizing Committee of the Trento Half Marathon 2025, the A.S.D., and the City of Trento from any present or future claims or liabilities of any kind, whether known or unknown, arising from participation in the event.
DATA PROCESSING REGULATIONS
In accordance with Article 13 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003, the following information is provided:
IMAGE RIGHTS
By registering for the Trento Half Marathon 2025, the athlete explicitly grants permission to the Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica Città di Trento to record their image through TV, cinema, photography, or other media during the event. The athlete acknowledges and confirms this permission, granting A.S.D. Città di Trento the right to use, reproduce, print, publish, project, distribute, and otherwise utilize their image worldwide, in any media now known or in the future, without time or geographical limitations. The athlete also grants the right to A.S.D. Città di Trento’s commercial and institutional partners to use the image for promotional and/or advertising purposes. The athlete waives any claims against A.S.D. Città di Trento or its partners regarding the use of their image, considering the opportunity to participate in the event as adequate compensation.
CANCELLATION OF THE EVENT
In the event that the race is canceled or not held due to causes not dependent on or attributable to the organizers, including revocation of authorization by the relevant public authorities, the participant has no claim against A.S.D. Città di Trento, including reimbursement for expenses or any claims for damages or compensation. By signing the registration form, the participant waives any right to a refund or compensation for any financial losses or other damages suffered.
CHANGES
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to modify these regulations at any time, with prior communication and approval from the Regional Committee and FIDAL National, for any changes to FIDAL regulations or for reasons deemed necessary for better event organization. Changes to schedules, services, or venues will be communicated to registered athletes in the confirmation letter or through the website: www.trentorunningfestival.it.
MISCELLANEOUS
For anything not explicitly covered in these regulations, the specific regulations and current laws apply. The Race Jury may disqualify athletes who fail to pass the timing points along the course. The organizing body reserves the right to alter any clause of the present regulation due to force majeure. The race will take place on a fully paved course, closed to traffic, and flat. Competitors must not alter or obscure any part of their race bib, or risk disqualification. It is expressly prohibited to be accompanied by a bicycle or any unauthorized personnel.
