Registration Drawing
The 2024 Medtronic TC 10 Mile Drawing will take place Monday, June 17 - Wednesday, June 26.
Due to its popularity, registration for the Medtronic TC 10 Mile is conducted by a random drawing. If you are interested in participating in drawing, you can enter starting on Monday, June 17th. The drawing is free to enter, however, you will be required to complete the registration process and submit your credit card for a $105 payment (plus fees) that will only be charged if you are selected in the drawing.

The 2024 Medtronic TC 10 Mile Drawing will take place Monday, June 17 - Wednesday, June 26.

Packet pick up will be available at the Health & Fitness Expo at the Saint Paul RiverCentre. The Expo is located on the lower level of the Saint Paul RiverCentre at 175 West Kellogg Blvd St. Paul, MN 55102.

There is no packet pick up on race day. No exceptions.
You will need your race number (emailed the week of September 30) and a photo ID to pick up your packet at the Health & Fitness Expo. The Help Desk located in the packet pickup area is staffed by individuals available to help you with registration-related issues. There are also two “Race Number Look Up” tables located near the packet pick up entrance.

Medtronic TC 10 Mile participants may place their gear and other items in the clear, plastic race bag provided at packet pick up. Gear check drop-off will be available ONLY at Expo near packet pick up. Items in personal bags will not be accepted.
NOTE: Gear check drop-off will NOT be available at the start area on Sunday.
All Medtronic TC 10 Mile participants must complete the course by 2:20 PM. If you are passed by the marathon leaders—which may happen for participants completing the TC 10 Mile at or near a 15-minutes-per-mile pace—you are required to follow all instructions from event officials, which may include moving to the side of the road. This is for the safety of both you and the lead marathoners, as official marathon lead vehicles and bicycles will be operating on the road along with runners during this period.
Additionally, the first three miles of the 10 Mile are run on a dedicated route separate from the marathon course. Participants are required to complete this section of the course at an 18-minutes-per-mile pace. Participants who fall behind this pace will be asked to board the sweep vehicle following this section of the course. Should you choose not to board the sweep vehicle, by order of Minneapolis police, you must move to the sidewalk and obey all pedestrian traffic laws until you complete this section of the course as it reopens to traffic on a rolling basis behind the sweep vehicle. Runners who choose to continue and are not on the sidewalk for this section of the course, will have their race number recorded and are subject to a ban from future TCM events.
Transportation and parking details are still being finalized for the 2024 Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend events.
Like previous years, we expect to have free participant buses for Marathon and 10 Mile participants, including rides to the start line from St. Paul and rides from the finish line back to Minneapolis and to the InterContinental in downtown St. Paul.
All registered participants will have access to ride the Blue Line Light Rail and Green Line Light Rail at no charge on race day. To redeem, riders will show their race bibs for admission onto the light rail.

This Run Minnesota Training program is designed to prepare you for a fun and successful fall 10 Mile, with the option to train with a group or train independently.
Hosted in the Twin Cities and led by certified coaches, Run Minnesota group training includes Tuesday and Saturday supported group runs, a training plan with multiple mileage options designed to meet the needs of everyone from beginning marathoners to more experienced runners, twice weekly workout emails from your coach and a training shirt. We emphasize teamwork along with the fun and camaraderie that can be provided through running with others.

Registration for the virtual Medtronic TC 10 Mile will open after the 10 mile drawing is complete in early July.
Virtual Registration Price: $105
Participants in the virtual Medtronic TC 10 Mile will be able to submit results October 1 – December 31, 2024. Check back later for the submission link.
Gear will be mailed to the shipping address provided at the time of registration by Friday, October 18, 2024.
Any changes to your address must be sent to [email protected] prior to Friday, September 6, 2024. Additional charges or delays in shipping may apply for incorrect addresses.
Age group awards will be mailed to participants for categories of men, women and non-binary athletes placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd in their age group. Age groups include 8 & under, 9-13, 14-18, 19-24, and continue in five-year increments until the 80+ age group. Athletes registered under “prefer not to disclose” for gender are not eligible for age group awards.
Complimentary entries to next years event will be awarded to the top 3 overall men, women, and non-binary athletes not in the Invited Professional Field for the marathon and 10 mile. Codes to register for the event will be sent out in December 2024. The alternative standard for a comped entry into the marathon or 10 mile is to have run an 85%+ age-graded performance in the last two years (there are only a limited number of these available). The Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon is also the 2024 Regional RRCA Marathon Championship.
