Tour de La Porte is a fundraiser to support direct assistance to patients with cancer. Over the course of three days we offer a 5K Trail Run (8.24); Half Marathon, 10K & 5K road races (8.25) and a cycling event with routes ranging from 15, 25, 40, 60 & 100 miles (8.26).

Going the Distance for Cancer Care: Tour de La Porte is a bike ride, running and walking event to benefit patients with cancer in our community. 100% of the proceeds raised are used to provide direct support to local patients with cancer.
Since 2002, TdL has raised more than $603,000, and the 2016 event attracted nearly 1,300 participants from 11 different states. HFL was able to provide 121 community members with $72,145.43 in financial assistance in 2016. So far in 2017, the Cancer Patient Fund has been used to support 75 members of the community with $28,959.61 of financial assistance related to their treatment.
